The Trezor® Wallet is a hardware wallet that stores cryptocurrency private keys offline, protecting them from online threats and malware. A Trezor® Hardware Wallet isolates your seed phrase and private keys inside the physical device; transactions are prepared in software but must be approved on-device, ensuring your keys never leave the unit.
Begin at trezor.io/start to register your device. Download the Trezor Suite App (desktop or web) from the official site and, if required by your OS, install Trezor Bridge — the small helper application that allows browsers to talk to the hardware. Always follow the prompts on the start page for the latest Trezor Suite Download and Trezor Bridge Download links.
When you connect your Trezor® Hardware Wallet and open Trezor Suite, you’ll unlock the device using its PIN — this is commonly referred to as Trezor® login or Trezor Wallet Login. The Suite shows balances and prepares transactions, but signing happens on the device itself for security.
Common issues include the browser not detecting the device, Trezor Suite App not working, or “Error Connecting Trezor Account.” First steps: confirm Trezor Bridge is installed and up to date, try a different USB cable or port (avoid hubs), and test the desktop Suite if the web version fails. Clear the browser cache or try another supported browser. If the PIN isn't accepted, double-check the PIN and firmware version.
If you can’t verify the device or login, never type your recovery seed into websites or third-party tools. Use only the official Suite and recovery steps at trezor.io/start. Reinstall Trezor Bridge and update firmware through the official Suite. Persistent hardware or firmware failures should be reported to the Trezor Help Center.
Trezor® Account Recovery uses your recovery seed (12–24 words). Store this seed offline in a safe place — it is the only way to restore funds if a device is lost or damaged. There is no centralized 2FA reset on the device; if you forget your PIN, restore from seed on a new Trezor® device. For third-party services that use 2FA, follow those service-specific procedures.
“Error Connecting Trezor Account” often points to Bridge, firmware, or permission issues. Ensure OS-level USB permissions are allowed and that you’re using official downloads. Visit the Trezor Help Center for official support articles and contact options if required.
